WHEN IS YOUR WEDDING?
These two months are usually the slowest months for weddings. While we always have some bookings for these months a year in advance, we usually still have openings for them as late as November or December of the previous year.
March is a ‘in-between’ month. It’s in between the slowest time of the year and the busiest time of the year. Because of this, March is very unpredictable and can be very slow or insanely busy. Most March brides book their wedding cakes sometime around August, but, as with any month, earlier is always better than later.
APRIL, MAY, JUNE, JULY
It’s NEVER too early to book your wedding cake for these months. These four months fill up VERY quickly. We usually have wedding cakes booked over a year in advance for April, May, June, and July.
August is a unique month. There’s usually one or two weeks in August that have very few weddings, and then the’ll be a week or two in which we are completely booked out. Most August brides will book with us around January or February. However, booking earlier than that is never a bad idea.
It’s NEVER too early to book your wedding cake for these months. These two months fill up VERY quickly. We usually have wedding cakes booked close to a year in advance for September and October.
These two months can get busy, especially as you near Christmas and New Years. Most November and December brides start booking with us around March or April. This does not mean you shouldn’t book with us earlier, but waiting until after April could possibly mean that we would have no more openings available.
THE BEST WAY TO KNOW IF YOUR DATE IS AVAILABLE IS TO CALL US AND ASK. EVEN WHEN CERTAIN DATES ARE FULL, WE’RE ABLE TO TAKE ANOTHER WEDDING OR TWO IF THE CAKE ENDS UP BEING EXTREMELY SIMPLE, OR IF YOU ARE ABLE TO HAVE SOMEONE PICK UP THE CAKE.
